LeAnna Turco Obituary

ELKHART- Leanna Marlies Turco, 59, of Elkhart, passed away Friday July 6, 2018. She was born on August 13, 1958 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Bonajean Rickey (Shank) & Jake Smith. On July 15, 1995 she married Brian J. Turco at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Elkhart. He survives along with both of her daughters, Franchesca Marlies Turco of Elkhart, Indiana and Skye Elizabeth Vincent of South Bend, Indiana; 2 grandchildren; many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. Leanna was a loving wife and devoted mother. She loved being a bus driver for the Elkhart Community School System for 14 years. She will truly be missed. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. The mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 11, 2018 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. Friends may visit with the family in the Vincent Hall at the church from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday. Fr. Glenn Kohrman will preside and burial will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alpha-1 Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Coral Gables, FL 33134.
