JOHN MARK February 27, 1924 - October 8, 2019 ELKHART- John Mark, 95, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Riverside Village in Elkhart. He was born on Feb. 27, 1924 in Poland to Kazmier & Marie (Wanagas) Marciszonek. He was preceded in death by his first wife Olga and his second wife Helen and a brother Edward Mark. Surviving are 3 children, Richard "Pud" Mark of Los Angeles, CA, Henry Mark of Cincinnati, OH and Margaret Kroeg of Edwardsburg, MI; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Anna Swartzell of Elkhart and Minnie Hanson of British Columbia, Canada and numerous nieces and nephews. John enjoyed gardening. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 12, 2019 at St. Vincent Cemetery. Pastor Tom DeFries from St. Pauls United Methodist church will preside. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with his care. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.
