John S. Catalino

John S. Catalino, 59, passed away April 2, 2019. He was born October 25, 1959 in South Bend, to Santino & Vicky (Pocock) Catalino. On December 21, 2018 he married Vickie Lynne Woltman. She survives along with his father, Santino (Joyce) Catalino, 3 sons, Seth (Lauren Collins) Catalino, Anthony (Darius Graham) Catalino, Noah Catalino, 3 step-children, Connor Mannion, Ian Mannion, Andrea Mannion, 2 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren. Also surviving are 6 siblings, Steve (Kelly) Catalino, Roy (Jill) Swoape, Jr., Mikel Frederick, Damon (Nichole) Swoape, Dawn (Jeff) Tobey, Marie McQuade and his beloved dogs, Gideon and Finn. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Vicky (Roy) Swoape, 2 siblings, Danny Frederick and Carla Erickson. John enjoyed riding his Harley, boating and listening to music. He also enjoyed the company of his dogs. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Omega Event Center, 2130 Middlebury Street, Elkhart, IN from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Additional visitation will be 1 hour prior to the 10 a.m. celebration of life service Monday at the Omega Event Center. Rev. Vickie Van Nevel from Northwest United Methodist Church in South Bend will preside. In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to the Humane Society.
