Joan L. Krauser

Joan L. Krauser, 89, passed away November 29, 2018 at Eastlake Nursing Home. She was born February 10, 1929 in Elkhart to Paul & Lula (Parcell) Helvie. On January 10, 1977 she married George Krauser; he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Steven Ramsby and siblings Gerald and Madge. Surviving are 2 daughters, Susan (Robert) Vicary of Wakarusa, Sandra Line of Elkhart, 4 grandchildren, Jason, Cara, Eric, Phillip, 6 great-grandchildren, Brittany, Christopher, Tom, Dean, Izzy, Cory, numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren. Joan was a cost analysis agent for NIBCO for many years, enjoyed volunteering at such places as the V.F.W, American Legion in Edwardsburg where she was a past president of the Women's Auxiliary and as a member of the Red Hat Society. She also liked to read, do crossword puzzles, play cards, was an avid Notre Dame fan, but her pride and joy were her grandchildren. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the funeral service Monday, December 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Pastor Dan Puckett from Granger Community Church will be presiding and burial will follow in Osceola Cemetery.
