Jeffery A. Yeager

Jeffery A. Yeager, 59, passed away September 21, 2018 at his home in Elkhart. He was born September 5, 1959 in Elkhart to Ray & Sandra (Morse) Yeager. On June 26, 2004 he married Melissa Currie; she survives along with his mother, Sandra (Wayne) Garrant, step-son, Jamie (Toni) Weiss, 5 siblings, Todd Yeager, Greg Yeager, Ken (Terri) Miller, Dean (Rainée) Miller and Jodie Lightfoot. Also surviving is a special uncle, Clint Yeager and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Mike Miller. Jeff was a U.S. Army Veteran, worked at Bonneyville Carriage rides for many years as well as Lemaster Steel, and was also a former President of the Cass County Conservation Club. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time at the lake, camping, and racing. He was part of the Five Star Dive Bar pit crew, raced cars, and enjoyed NASCAR as well. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Additional visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the 2 p.m. service Wednesday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Stoney Point Cemetery, 7000 W. 650 N.
