Janet M. Froelich

Janet M. Froelich, 94, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday March 2, 2019 at Eastlake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 23, 1924 in Elkhart to Roscoe & Lois (Walker) Warren. On November 14, 1942 she married Arthur James Froelich. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1994. Surviving is a daughter, Jody Froelich of Elkhart; a son, James (Jan) Froelich of Goshen; 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Also surviving is her childhood friend, Annie Yohn of Anderson, IN and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Linda Gonzales; 3 brothers, Dick, Bob and Ben; a sister, Dorthea; her step father, Chester Kamp and her best friends, Phyllis Humphreys and Shirley Swinehart. Janet enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved eating candy and ice cream, which she forced on her family and friends. Funeral services for Janet will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday March 6, 2019 the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Chaplain Marge Braden will preside and burial will follow in Rice Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family for 2 hours prior to the service In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the center for Hospice Care.
