Jacqueline Jean Rockenbaugh

Jacqueline Jean Rockenbaugh, 96, passed away February 18, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born March 22, 1923 in Elkhart to Edward & Loretta (Dailey) LaRocque. On October 25, 1941 she married Lloyd "Rocky" Rockenbaugh; he preceded her in death on September 8, 1985. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, Ross Rockenbaugh and 4 siblings, Mary, Phyllis, Dave and Ed. Surviving are 4 children, JoAnn (Rick) Frederickson, Betty (Randy) Johnson, Beverly (Mike) Killarney, Alan (Penny) Rockenbaugh, 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Jacqueline worked at CTS as a line worker and I & M Electric as a cashier for many years. She was a foster parent and enjoyed traveling, playing cards, playing bingo with her friends at Greenleaf Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, gardening and her favorite flower was roses. A celebration of life service will be Friday, June 19, 2020 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home 1 hour prior to the 11:00a.m. service.  Burial will follow at Adamsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Elkhart County Humane Society. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
