ELKHART- Ernesto E. Paz, 81, of Elkhart, passed away on Thursday November 23, 2017 at Valley View Healthcare Center in Elkhart. He was born on May 26, 1936 in Isla de Toas, Venezuela to Horacio and Lucia (Gonzalez) Paz. Survivors include his wife, Elsa V. (Colina) Paz; daughter, Ana Kontos; two sons, Ender Paz and Andres Paz; sister, Alba Plaza and six grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ernesto J. Paz. Ernesto was employed with the Exxon Oil Company for many years prior to his retirement. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the 7 p.m. Celebration of Life service on Monday November 27, 2017 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral, 700 E. Jackson Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46516. Pastor Luis G. Montiel will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to River Oaks En Espanol Church 58020 County Road 115, Goshen, IN 46528, in memory of Ernesto.
