Elvin Earl Stewart

GRANGER, IN-Elvin E. Stewart, 89, passed away April 17, 2018 at Greenleaf Healthcare Center in Elkhart. He was born February 20, 1929 to Verl & Florence Stewart. On August 19, 1951 in Elkhart he married Doris Doan; she survives along with 5 children; Gary Stewart, Rebecca Rheinheimer, David Stewart, Daniel Stewart, Gregory Stewart, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter and a twin brother; Melvin Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Diane Stewart and 5 siblings. Elvin was the founded Better Product in 1976, was a member of the Elkhart Moose Lodge and the Elkhart Eagles. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing at Four Lakes Country Club and Bonita Springs Country Club, gardening and planting flowers. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Carl Henry from Northside Baptist Church will preside and burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery.
