Doris L. Lobdell

Doris L. Lobdell, 90, of Elkhart, passed away Friday March 29, 2019 at Eastlake Terrace. She was born May 26, 1928 in Albany, New York to Elmer & Ethel (Lansing) DeTiere. She married Ronald D. Lobdell and he preceded her in death in 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Elmer DeTiere, Jr. Surviving are 2 daughters, Bonnie (William) Drury of Elkhart, Gale Crossman of Lake Placid, FL; 4 grandchildren, Sean Drury, Brandon Drury, Carol Diaz, Kris McNulty and 5 great-grandchildren. Doris enjoyed golfing when she was able and also enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. She worked as a secretary for AT&T and was most recently a homemaker. There will be no visitation or services and burial will be private on Wednesday April 3, 2019 at Rice Cemetery. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
