Diane J. Turso

GOSHEN- Diane J. Turso, 73, of Goshen, passed away Saturday September 16, 2017 at her home. She was born February 27, 1944 in Elkhart to Anthony & Mary (Montagano) Turso. Surviving are 3 children, Lisa (Scott) Boyer Hackl of Coppell, TX, Robin (Kevin) Boyer Crouch of Elkhart and Michael Moss. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Luke Dennis, MacKenzie Dennis, Marissa Hackl, Elizabeth Hackl, Ryan Hackl, Mia Crouch and Kendall Crouch. She was preceded in death by her parents. Diane graduated in 1962 from Elkhart High School and attended Ball State University. She enjoyed doing needlepointing and ballet dancing and was balett dancer for Wayne Warren. Diane was raised a devout catholic. She was a florist and also a hair stylist at Muffs's Beauty Salon in Elkhart. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Additional visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas Catholic Church where the mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday September 22, 2017. Fr. Jason Freiburger will preside and cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the YWCA Safe haven of Elkhart, 132 State Street, Elkhart, IN 46516.
