DEBRA K. SWITALSKI October 14, 1952 - April 11 2018 ELKHART- Debra K. Switalski, 65, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Elkhart Hospice House. She was born October 14, 1952 in Goshen to Kenneth Hugh and Lula M. (Kyle) Sloan. On June 24, 1977 she married Dean E. Switalski. He preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 2012. Surviving are 3 siblings, Carol Zook of Elkhart, Florence Swihart, Kenneth (Elizabeth) Sloan both of Goshen; numerous nieces and nephews and her significant other Dennis Stroder of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Hugh Sloan and her mother, Lula M. Sloan Batman. Debra was a member of the I.A.M., and she enjoyed shopping and attending family functions. She retired from KIK Custom Products in Elkhart where she worked for over 25 years. Funeral services for Debra will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday April 16, 2018 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Pastor Earl Smith from the Beulah Missionary Church will preside and burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for 2 hours prior to the service.
