Charles Goshorn

ELKHART- Charles E. Goshorn, 92, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday April 12, 2017 at his daughter's home. He was born October 11, 1924 in Leesburg, Indiana to the late Wallace & Mary (Summy) Goshorn. On January 29, 1950 in Lakeville, Indiana he married Hazel M. Graf. She preceded in death on November 29, 2016 in Elkhart, Indiana. Surviving are three children, Luann (David) Stuck, Cindi (Dale) Ballard, Bruce (Patty) Goshorn all of Elkhart; eight grandchildren, Alissa (Eric) Mishler, Dustin (Jessica Stubbs) Goshorn, Daniel (Roxanna) Stuck, Andrew (Natasha Ram) Stuck, Samuel Stuck, Jacob (Kelsey) Ballard, Michael (Oliva Daggy) Ballard and Jessica (Daniel Fitzgerald) Kline. Also surviving are eleven great-grandchildren with one more to be born soon. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James & Richard and a sister, Elizabeth Orr. Charles was a member of the Central Christian Church and enjoyed fishing, tinkering in the garage and playing the harmonica. He loved spending time with his family and he and Hazel fostered many children throughout the years. Charles worked for 25 years at Adams & Westlake in Elkhart. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fair Cemetery in Lakeville, Indiana. In his memory, donations may be given to Heartland Hospice.
