Arthur "Art" D. Gillison, Jr., 63, passed away February 8, 2019 at the Elkhart Hospice House. He was born August 30, 1955 in Lansing, MI to Arthur D. Gillison, Sr. and Charlotte (Clark) Gillison. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Roger Gillison. Surviving are 3 children, Heather (Edward) Carmicheal, Scottie Gillison, Danielle Gillison, 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Saunders, James Carmicheal, Sierra Thomas, Danella Cates and Chance London. Also surviving are 6 siblings, Robert Gillison, Penny (James) Jerkes, Ronald (Kari) Gillison, Peggy (Scott) Snider, Irene (Matt) Newcomer and William Gillison. Art worked at Easco Aluminum for over 31 years and Keystone for over 11 years. In his spare time he enjoyed camping, bomb fires, drinking and playing X-Box. He was also an avid 49ers and Notre Dame Fan. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
