Andre Ramon Broussard

Andre Ramon Broussard, 52, passed away March 12, 2019 at the Elkhart Hospice House. He was born October 23, 1966 in Chicago, IL to Arthur & Marie (Martinez) Broussard. On February 14, 2012 he married Saylom Monalisa Chanmanivong; she survives along with his dad, Arthur Broussard, 2 children, Andre Ramon Broussard, Lela Lyneise Broussard, 3 brothers, Michael Joiner, Keith (Kim) Joiner, Quandell Broussard, 5 sisters, Cheri (Maurice) Thomas, Cheryl Green, Kimberly Joiner, Sava (Willie) McKnight and Keisha Maclin. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, 1 on the way, 17 nieces, 13 nephews and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Broussard, brother, Darryl Sykes, sister, Dyetha Mendoza, 2 nephews, Mister Cordero Williams-El, Michael J. Gibbs, 4 uncles, Ricardo Martinez, Reynardo Martinez, Fred Broussard, Jewel Broussard, sister. Marlo Johnson, maternal grandparents, Mike & Lela Mendoza and paternal grandparents, Alvin & Vera Broussard. Andre graduated from Ross Beatty in 1984 and in his spare time enjoyed listening to music, playing cards, going to the casino and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the 2 p.m. celebration of life service Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.
