Raymond E. Zook

Raymond E. Zook, 78, passed away March 28, 2018 at the Elkhart Hospice House. He was born February 15, 1940 in Elkhart to Henry & Clara (Cook) Zook, Sr. On June 17, 1960 in Elkhart he married Carol Sloan; she survives along with 3 children; Ray Zook, Robbie Zook, Randy (Tammy) Zook, 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 siblings; Rose Cavander, Henry (Barbara) Zook, Jr., and Sandy (Tom) Karmalinski. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 6 sisters. Raymond worked at Conn-Selmer for over 47 years in various positions until his retirement. In his spare time he enjoyed going to the casino, bowling, playing darts, taking care of his yard and listening to Elvis. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service Monday, April 2, 2018 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rice Cemetery.
