Pamela Sue VanSchoyck

ELKHART- Pamela Sue VanSchoyck, 57, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday October 28, 2017 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born February 7, 1960 in South bend to Duane Edward & Alice Belle (Van Diepenboss) Christner. On Feb. 26, 2000 she married Ralph Eugene VanSchoyck. He survives along with 3 children, Alesha (Shaun) Webb of South Bend, Andrew Ray (Rachel) Holland of Elkhart, Bradley Allen Holland of Kendallville; 2 step sons, Richard E. VanSchoyck of TN, Jeramy S. VanSchoyck of Goshen; 3 grandchildren, Aleese, Lucas and Lennon. Also surviving are eleven step grandchildren, Derrick, Shelby, Julian, Payton, Riddik, Jersey, Gage, Daytona, Casey, Memphis, Jordan; a brother, Duane "Butch" (Sue) Christner of FL and a sister, Shirley (Jack) Thompson of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by a step son, Keith, a brother George and her parents. Pam graduated in 1978 from Edwardsburg High School and graduated in 1996 from Ivy Tech. She enjoyed camping, traveling and she attended the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Elkhart. She was employed by the Elkhart Clinic for many years. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Funeral services for Pamela will be held on Saturday November 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 29635 C.R. 10, Elkhart, Indiana 46514. Pastor Ron Bell will preside and burial will follow at Adamsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
