Mark Allen Koenig

ELKHART- Mark Allen Koenig, 58, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday February 13, 2018 at his home. He was born August 4, 1959 in Elkhart to the late Allen & Vennita (Sparkman) Koenig. Surviving are 2 children, Drew A. (Brenna) Koenig of Elkhart, Hannah G. (Nick) St. Clair of Granger, IN; 4 grandchildren, Ty, Hunter, Colin, Sophia and a brother, Steve J. (Sherri) Koenig of Goshen. Mark graduated in 1977 from Elkhart Central High School. He was a member of the Jefferson Community Church in Goshen and enjoyed playing basketball and ping pong. Mark worked as a sales representative for B. & D. Customs in Bristol. Visitation for family and friends will be for 2 hours prior to the 1:00 p.m. Friday February 16, 2018 celebration of life service at the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Pastor Ken Hunn from the Jefferson Community Church will preside and burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Riley Hospital for Children or to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
