Jack Reavis Obituary

Jack Reavis North Liberty, IN-Jack Reavis, 79, passed away April 20, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. He was born November 3, 1938 in Elkhart to Louis & Madge (Alexander) Reavis. On September 28, 1990 in Mishawaka, IN he married Stephanie Roy; she survives along with 4 children; Scott (Misty) Reavis, Jeffrey (Kelly) Christy, Stacy (Scott) Dennis, Jennifer Christy-Grimm, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 sister; Betty Bennett. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son; Jack Reavis, Jr., and 6 siblings. Jack was a Naval Aviation Mechanic in the U.S. Navy and a member of U.T.U. Alumni Association. He was also a conductor for Norfolk and Southern Railway for 30 years until his retirement. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood, walking outdoors and gardening. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Prairie Street Cemetery where military honors will be rendered. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
