Hilton G. Dawson November 25, 1945-November 17, 2017 ELKHART-Hilton G. Dawson, 71, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away November 17, 2017 at his home in Elkhart. He was born November 25, 1945 in Hoisington, Kansas to the late Orval G. & Stella (Soden) Dawson. On December 17, 1988 in Elkhart he married Dana; she survives along with 3 children; Michael (Stacy) Scheetz, Ty (Alice) Dawson, Stacey (Patrick) Rider and 5 grandchildren. Hilton started his career with Miles Laboratory before founding his own business, Deerland Enzymes, with his partner Richard Desenna. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and he adored his pets. In his free time he enjoyed golfing, boating, canoeing, camping and skiing. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the 3 p.m. celebration of life service Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.
