Dan M Lints

Dan Myron Lints, 67, of Elkhart, Indiana, husband of Vicki Lynn (Henning) Lints for 44 years, passed away on October 25, 2017. He was predeceased by his beloved son, Trevor Allen Lints, his brothers; Carl Lints, Gary Lints, Robert Lints and Eugene Burleigh He was also predeceased by his parents Carl (Ted) and Dorothy (Kittleson) Lints. Dan was born in Frankfort, Michigan and worked for the railroad as an engineer (Conrail/Norfolk Southern) and retired after 42 years of service. He also served our country honorably in the USMC and earned a metal as a rifle expert. Besides his wife Vicki, Dan is survived by his daughter, Crystal (Brian) Adkins of Castle Rock, Colorado and his grandchildren, Landon, Liam and Olivia, his sister Laurie Faught, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at Walley-Mills Zimmerman in Elkhart, Indiana. Services will be Monday, October 30, 2017 at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Indiana Chapter.
