BRECKIN R. HAMBY November 1, 1999 - March 19, 2017 ELKHART- Breckin R. Hamby, 17, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 follow an automobile accident at the intersection of state road 19 and county road 36. He was born November 1, 1999 in Elkhart to Michael R. and Ginger L. (Hettinger) Hamby. In addition to his parents, other survivors include 2 brothers, Logan (Danielle Owens) Frye of Warsaw and Kanyon Hamby of Elkhart; 1 sister, Kassidy (Austin) Crimmins of Goshen; maternal grandparents, Ernest and Elaine Hettinger of Elkhart; 2 nieces, Presley Crimmins and Irelynne Crimmins, both of Goshen; 1 nephew, Korbin Frye of Warsaw. Breckin was currently a junior at Jimtown High School. Breckin grew up playing basketball, baseball and football in the Baugo community, but as he grew older his passion turned to music. He loved his family, friends and he especially adored being an uncle. His fiery red hair and contagious smile will be missed by so many. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Jamestown United Methodist Church, 59218 C.R. 3, Elkhart, IN 46517. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 24th at Jamestown United Methodist Church with a visitation beginning 1 hour prior. Pastor Steve Loft will officiate. Interment will follow in Olive East Cemetery. Walley Mills Zimmerman Funeral Home, 700 E. Jackson Blvd., Elkhart, is entrusted with his arrangements.
